Cause:

The most likely cause of this error is when you are trying to view the thumbnail of a document in the Pages tab of the Document Preview Pane. 

Solution:

Please perform the following steps on the machine on which SOHODOX is installed in the server mode...

  1. Make sure SOHODOX is not running on any of the machines on the network.
  2. Open the Run box (Keyboard Shortcut: Windows key + R)
  3. Type or copy and paste the following command (including the quotes) in the run box...

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sohodox Desktop\Sohodox.exe" /resetcachedb /dbid=1

    (Please note: Sohodox is installed in "C:\Program Files\Sohodox Desktop" folder on a 32-bit machine)

  4. Sohodox will start in Maintenance mode and perform the required tasks. After the tasks are completed close Sohodox and start again.
